Democratic Management of Cities Meeting

Welcome everybody to the VI Democratic Management Seminar Cities Meeting!
This year, Cordova will host a forum for public debate about the democratization of urban management that began in the First World Social Forum (Porto Alegre, 2001). His immediate predecessor, the V Seminar was held in November 2007 in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. It was attended by over 280 references to political and social organizations, integrating the various tables, workshops and experiences. Many of them came from various locations both Argentina, and Bolivia, Uruguay and Brazil.

The challenge that has guided successive encounters is to develop management models that expand the participation in the decision-making processes of the various actors who build the city.
