The English firm A-cero, led by Joaquin Torres and Rafael Llamazares has been awarded the first prize in a restricted international competition to develop an exclusive residential area in Madinat Al Arab, a district in Dubai coastline.
The project, called Nebula, including a hotel, luxury apartments, comercials spaces, offices and sports Pueto, occupying 600,000 m2. Will rise about one-third and largest of the Palms that are being built on the coast of the emirate.
The work will be located in three plots to be occupied by a block of 10 plants followed by three apartment towers between 20 and 30 floors and two floors of 50 flats. The proposal of the architects intend to create a new space of relationship with the Gulf and the desert, through a dynamic volume. The design ephemeral structures inspired by the local nomadic culture and the work of David Nash.
